“D-Day & Armistice” 6-day & 5 nights tour starts and ends in Lille Europe.

• November 6th meet in Lille and visit the Fromelles Australian Memorial and battlefield. From there we drive to Vimy Ridge Canadian Memorial , Visitor Center and visit the tunnels and trenches, then visit Bullecourt on the old Hindenburg Line. c/I hotel Arras
• November 7th meet in Arras and start tour to the Somme : Pozières, Thiepval, Beaumont-Hamel, Péronne, Villers-Bretonneux, Amiens and push on to Dieppe, visit the landing beaches of August 1942. c/I hotel Dieppe
• November 8th start from Dieppe to the D-Day Normandy landing beaches where we visit the British Airborne Landings, British and Canadian operations and the artificial port & museum at Arromanches. c/I hotel Bayeux.
• November 9th visit the Normandy US Ops and US Airborne sites at Omaha and Utah Beach , German Military cemetery … AM drive to Belgium, Ypres. c/I hotel Ypres
• November 10th : visit Flanders Fields : John McCrae, Vancouver Corner, Tyne Cot, Polygon Wood, Hill 62, Hill 60, Messines Ridge and the Menin Gate. Stay 2nd night in Ypres
• November 11th Ypres Armistice program : 10:00 am Military Bands parade in the square and march to the Menin Gate. 11:00 am Last Post at Menin Gate. Visit the IFF museum in the afternoon and attend the “traditional” 8:00 pm last post. Night shuttle to Lille Europe ( optional transport to Bruges)
